in the friend-zone

so elections kallah was this weekend. i feel sick and achy and tired and everything but it was one of the best nfty events i’ve ever been to and easily the greatest nfty event that our board has ever ran.

for big fun we did the holi powder color war thing and it was fucking amazing. my dream actually came true and god dammit i’m just so pleased with everything. i want everyone to know that the holi powder color was my idea. i get creds, dammit.

i haven’t tumbled in a few weeks, i apologize. i’ll write one later catching up. but for now, i’m just very pleased with elections.

frankie is my successor. that’s chill. i’m really happy she got this position, but i honestly don’t know what to feel with kyra. they’re both very qualified. and i’m really good friends with both of them. i just don’t know. i guess i’m happy.

moving on, i’m really happy that hilly came to his first (real) nfty event. i’m going to poland and israel with him next week and i’m really glad i got to spend the weekend with him. i don’t really know how to say this because i’m not attracted to him, at the same time i totally am attracted to him. he’s a really nice guy, kind of cute (kind of), and is the most amazing musician/singer/whatever in the whole world. (he’s pretty fucking far up there…like a john mayer.) and he’s into katie. because she flirted with him all weekend. and yeah. i just don’t really know how i feel about that. because it’s not really jealousy, but i feel like it’s because i saw him first (that’s the reason that ady gave me and yeah, she’s right) this just happens to me a lot and i’m stuck in the friend-zone. i don’t know why i feel like this because i mean i hook up with guys (not like guys here, like sam and aaron and people when they visit or alex or randoms but like basically i get ass, i’m not complaining).

but for some reason i don’t know why i feel like this. whatever i don’t know. i think that i just miss aaron. but then like on days where i think about it, i don’t miss aaron that much. don’t get me wrong, i still like him a lot and i do miss him, i just don’t think he feels the same way and that psychs me out. i don’t know what i’m feeling. i miss aaron, i miss sam, what the fuck is new. what the fuck is up with hilly, noooo clue. (hey that rhymed lawl i’m funny. not.)

and dammit i really want to start surfing again, like forreal like real surfing ugh. there’s just a lot on my mind and i have SO much work to make up for school and to do for when i miss 11 fucking days for march of the living/coachella. i’m beyond excited for april. shower/laundry/sleep.

aipac: awesome 4 days in d.c. love my grandparents. spent the whole time with chloe biren (an old camp friend i haven’t seen in 3+ years and magically found each other and hungout with each other the whole time). hooked up with skippy (so irrelevant). learned a lot. saw adam gould and aaron arkin (<3) and jake speyer. cool business trip.

robotics: competition on thursday and friday. nerd fucking central but it was kind of cool haha (i swear i’m not turning into one of them). we placed 8 out of like 65 teams. pretty legit.

friday afternoon: rachel’s train came in. got ready. g-eazy + skizzy mars concert at porter’s pub at ucsd. too fucking cool. hungout with jaime zinn and her friend. rachel hooked up with a random (HOLLA@YOU!!)—lol wolf hat boy. we got to the front (duh). loved that shit so much. some girl smoked me out because i let her stand next to me hahaha.

saturday: matt + alex’s b’nai mitzvah. yay them. we did the hora and they got lifted in chairs, the mom got lifted, and then the dad did. and they dropped him hahahahhaha. what is life. walmart shopping (chasers, snacks, condoms [lol]), got gas, got alch (s/o to rael) and met up with daniel and aaron in seaport village. lunch was so awkward but then i got to meet jim and annette (who are both awesome and great and funny and i love them, s/o to my future in-laws too ahhaah). then we went to my house, rach + i got ready, we finally left CUZ WE HAD TO DRIVE TO SANTA ANA TO SEE TIMEFLIES!!!

fast forward an hour and a half and a fifth of smirnoff later, got to the observatory (the venue) and immediately started meeting people (yeah we’re those social butterflies). i met one of the opening act’s managers and hooked up with him lolol. rachel hooked up with like 5 guys and we almost got eaten by big black men laawl. then i met cal’s (one of the guys in timeflies) brother and we hung out for a while which was tight.

fast forward more, aaron and i hooked up (it was just waiting to happen) we danced, hungout, madeout, ya know. it was a good time. met more people, instagrammed with a random boy named marcus, then it was over. went outside and was walking to my car, i went over to marcus to show him the instagram and he bumped me and knocked my phone out of my hands AND IT CRACKED HAHAH THAT PHONE IS LESS THAN 3 DAYS OLD WHAT THE FUCK. anyway it’s whatever. it was so fun.

the drive back home was brutal, i was so tired. jbox stop, noms, home, shower, sleep, hookup. we tried having sex again but like for some reason it doesn’t work with us hahaha. i mean it could be because it was 4am both times and the fact we had to be sneaky because of my parents but whatever it was…i just don’t even know.

MY MOM WALKED IN ON US HHAHAHAHAH AGAIN, WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. didn’t get in trouble but whhattt that could have been SO bad if she turned the lights on (aka we were naked under my blanket but like yolo).

sunday: wake up, skip march of the living, dennys, take the boys back downtown, rachel and i tan in backyard and relax, shower, speed to get her to her train on time, go home, get ready, and emily’s bday dinner WOOHHHOO! it’s my bfffff’s 18th birthday! I LOVE YOU EMILY!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 yayayya yanni’s was delicious as usual. but now i have a big fat project TO START (HA) and i’m basically fucked but yeah this weekend was most certainly worth it and one of the best weekend’s this year so i couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome right now.

now i just have like 2 weeks of work to catch up on and i’m fucked beyond belief. okay bye!!!

so baby get some sleep tonight
